Big Jim's Floors Staff

Big Jim's Floors, Inc opened its doors officially November 1st, 2001.

Big Jim's first retail flooring started at North Georgia Carpets in McCayesville, Georgia area in Fannin County. From there to Smiths Floors & Walls, which later became Floormasters in Blue Ridge. Big Jim then went to work for Gordon's Flooring. All of these are out of business now, but this experience lead to the start of Big Jim's Floors. Big Jim's previous experience in carpet manufacturing at World Carpets, Coronet Carpets, Crusader Carpets, Galaxy, Diamond, and Blue Ridge Carpets provided a wealth of knowledge about carpet as flooring, which was approximately 80% of the flooring business 25 years ago.Today  these same companies are working in sales of vinyl, wood, laminate, and ceramics. At Big Jim's Floors we have seen the need to move with the flooring trends by keeping up with all the products and installation information to better inform our customers.
Also, in having experience in sales with the Sarah Lee Corporation and several major insurance companies, it gives us the edge in truly finding out peoples needs. We know people like to buy, not be sold. The training seminars are great to show you how to serve customers.

Many times customers think they have to replace their whole floor when a simple repair is all that is needed. There is a reason that in 12 years of carpet installations we have only had four callbacks about wrinkles. We know all of the good installers along with which ones to avoid. This is a family owned and operated business with everyone trained in sales, service, and installations.

It doesn't matter how cheap you get your floors for, if you get a bad installation job you have paid too much! Also ask us how we can utilize our out-of-state distribution points.

Proudly Serving: Blue Ridge, Gainesville, Dahlonega, Ellijay, Jasper, Canton, Blairsville, Hiawasse, North Georgia, Tri-State area, South Alabama, Cleveland, Benton, Copperhill, Tennessee, Eastern Tennessee, North Carolina, Murphy, Hayesville, Western Carolina
